MIAA Football Scheduling Fall 2025 In the Fall of 2025, Labor Day is early, 9/1/25 and Thanksgiving is late, 11/27/25 (this is the second year in a row of this occurrence). As has been the case in the past, this creates an extra weekend in the qualifying period before the beginning of the state tournament. The extra week is labeled "1A". Schools can schedule a maximum of 8 games in the 9-week period between Labor Day and the cutoff date of Saturday, 11/1/25. The following weekly schedule can be used for scheduling purposes understanding the first week of possible play, week of 9/2/24, is "Week 1A".
